We would like to express our deepest sympathies to everyone affected by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
LDH JAPAN has started carrying out support operations in Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Further details of the activities are as follows:

A soup kitchen serving ramen / fried rice / salad (approximately 500 meals) at Suzunari Roadside Station.
Warm coffee and mineral water, along with sweets such as Karintō and chocolate are provided.
In addition, relief supplies such as sports towels and tote bags are also be provided.

Although brief, we were able to meet so many wonderful people and receive such wonderful compliments such as “Thank you for coming all this way,” “I feel happy because it’ s been a while since I have been able to eat authentic ramen.”

It appears that infrustructure restoration is well underway, but it will be some time before the people can return back to their everyday lives.
Despite such difficult circumstances, we were shown their true strength and determination when seeing their smiles and hearing their kind words.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who accepted us, and to the local governments and local communities for their efforts.

Although our efforts are limited, based on the information gathered, LDH JAPAN will continue to engage in support activities and work closely with everyone in the affected areas.

We sincerely pray for a swift recovery and restoration, and for everyone’ s good health.
