RECRUITVOICESVoices from our 2024 new graduation employees.

We asked the new recruits about the challenges they faced during their job search, their reason for choosing LDH, and their aspirations for joining the company!

Things and Activities They Were Passionate About During Their Student Years.

  • Meiji University, School of Information and Communication, Department of Information and Communication I had the determination to do any and all tasks that would help hone my skills in the entertainment industry, including things like researching about the industry, and working part-time at tv stations and events. I had a really great student life because I would participate in LDH's live concerts and events on my days off.
  • Hosei University, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Business Strategy I was really into doing early morning practice and club activities, practicing four days a week. I had fun taking on new challenges like managing club performances, running social media, and creating goods.
  • Meiji University, School of Information and Communication, Department of Information and Communication I worked as an event staff member for large music festivals. The sense of accomplishment when we succeeded was extraordinary. I was part of the dance club, where I served as a genre leader and the vice-coordinator, getting the team ready for university festivals and independent events.
  • Hosei University, Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Sociology For me, it's windsurfing. I achieved first place in the amateur annual rankings and have earned my title as a pro. Since windsurfing is all about facing nature, I've learned the importance of coming to terms with oneself.
  • Komazawa University, Literature, Department of British and American Literature I danced for 16 years, since I was 4 all the way until I turned 20, having experience performing at various artists' concerts and music videos. Additionally, I spent a lot of time studying English at my university.

Looking back, how did you think your job hunt went?

  • Showa Women's University, Faculty of Environmental Science and Design, Department of Environmental Science and Design I got through it all with a smile on my face! I went through a lot of trial and error everyday, constantly thinking about what I truly wanted to do and how to convey that effectively. I'm now able to take on tasks while enjoying myself because I'm able to utilize the skills that I've learned through my hard work.
  • Kansai University, Faculty of Sociology, Department of Sociology There was a time in my life when I got to learn a lot about myself. I realized that past memories play a significant part in shaping one’s personality. Even all the unpleasant and painful memories make me who I am, and I truly believe that each and every one of those memories are invaluable. During interviews, I try to be as cheerful and bright as I can, believing in all of my past actions.
  • Chiba University of Commerce, Faculty of Service Innovation, Department of Service Innovation Job hunting was when I really had to think and come to terms with myself. I believe job hunting is a test to see how much someone can understand, verbalize, and appeal themself to others, so I spent a lot of time analyzing myself. Since I wasn’t good at verbalizing my thoughts, I remember it taking a lot of time and was quite painful.
  • Momoyama Gakuin University, Faculty of Law, Department of Law I tackled it with a bright attitude and had fun with it. While preparation is important, I believe an interview isn't a place for you to just show off what you've prepared, so I focused on giving it my all for the real thing. During the interview, I focused mostly on entertaining the interviewer.

What was your reason for applying?

  • Nihon University College of Art, Department of Broadcasting I believed LDH was the best place to help me achieve my dreams. During the internship and the selection process, I felt that the artists and employees here at LDH embody the idea that someone else's happiness connects to their own. I felt that LDH's approach to fulfill both parties' dreams together has the power to expand one's possibilities even further. Knowing for sure that I would be able to work here with passion and pride, I applied to LDH.
  • Keio University, Faculty of Law, Department of Political Science I wanted to help artists achieve their dreams in the LDH environment. Throughout my time at university, I've taken on activities that would help support other students every step of the way on their journey to achieve their dreams. I applied to LDH because I knew I would be able to help many people achieve their dreams through music, something that I'm also very passionate about, and that I'd be able to support artists as they take on the world.
  • OCA Osaka College of Design & Technology, Illustration & Graphic Design Major, Creator Department I really liked the fact that the Merchandising Division handles everything from planning to delivery all in-house. From listening to the fans and their needs concerning things like the EXILE TRIBE STATION store, to trying their best to make artists' ideas come to life, I feel that the close proximity you feel when everyone is working hand in hand is a strong point LDH has that you can't find working at any other company.
  • Kindai University, Faculty of International Studies, Department of International Studies I wanted to captivate the hearts of many people through the power of entertainment. During my middle school years, I was deeply moved and sensed the potential of what entertainment could do. With that feeling and my personal wish of "bringing enjoyment to the world," I chose LDH because I felt that their goal of "giving a smile to the world" aligned perfectly with mine.

What was the decisive factor for choosing LDH?

  • Nihon University College of Art, Department of Cinema Among many entertainment companies, LDH has activities not only limited to Japan, but also globally. For me, who wishes to someday work overseas, I chose LDH because I believe it was a company that will allow me to grow and work towards that goal.
  • Nihon University College of Art, Department of Broadcasting The deciding factor for me was the staff and the wide range of businesses. After hearing everyone's experiences, I immediately knew that I wanted to work with them. The energy I also received from the artists made me believe I could work here at LDH with pride and confidence.
  • Fukuoka School of Music & Dance College, Department of Commercial Music, Manager Course As a fan, I've always wanted to prove LDH's potential to others because I strongly agree with their philosophy.
  • OCA Osaka College of Design and Technology, Illustration & Graphic Design Major, Creator Department I was drawn to how a trinity is formed by the fans, artists, and staff members as each and every one of these elements come together to synergistically improve upon each other, fulfill dreams, and give birth to new dreams. Through my personal experiences, I've come to understand the importance of such a trinity that was formed through clients, creators, and the customers, so I know just how big of a deal LDH's strength really is.
  • Meiji University, School of Information and Communication, Department of Information and Communication I chose LDH because it is my dream company. After experiencing my first EXILE concert, I started to pick up dancing. It was then that I knew that I want to get into live concert production in the future.

I have lived my whole life being a fan of LDH since I was in elementary school.
