I’m DJ DARUMA, and I am pleased to announce that I have assumed the role of Creative Officer at LDH JAPAN.

My fundamental idea of creativity is to erase the "sense of discomfort from something (anything)" and in accordance with my personal aesthetic sense, believe in my accumulated knowledge, experience, and intuition, and while not forgetting our essence, release it to the world, while also considering the balance of the market and the people who are on the receiving end.

Of course, it’s wonderful when personal expression is expressed just for oneself, but I also strongly consider the various market trends for designs in music and clothing, so I think it’s safe to say that I am someone who can blend my nature of a director with creative direction.

Next, I would like to talk about the young talent.
In all ages, the new generation always exhibits creativity and energy that is overflowing with boldness and freshness, shocking the adults who have come before them.
We were like that too, but generally regarding adults we had a rigid demeanor and they had a perceiving response to the difference in our groove.

However, in most cases they were flexible, and when we explained the theoretical aspects of "youthfulness" they immediately corrected themselves and quickly absorbed knowledge and the know-how. All young boys and girls will eventually become "adults" as well.

I hope to spend as much time together as possible working hard to create the perfect environment for them to hone their craft so that when it comes time for them to connect to the younger generation, they'd be able to not only pass on what we have passed on to them, but also mend and adapt it with the new generation to keep the "Culture" alive, thus making the“Circle of Dreams" a reality.
