LDH kitchen Inc. (Head office: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hiroyuki Suzuki; hereinafter referred to as “our company”), which promotes Japanese food culture both in Japan and overseas under the concept of “Food is also entertainment,” is working alongside Meguro’s “TORISHIKI,” a restaurant which frequently receives MICHELIN stars and is renowned as “Japan’s most difficult restaurant to book.”

We are pleased to announce that “Azabudai Torishiki,” a takeout specialty yakitori and delicatessen store born from “TORISHIKI ICHIMON,” led by its owner Yoshiteru Ikegawa, will make its its first appearance at the Food Collection on floor B1F of the main building of the Isetan Shinjuku store for three days only, from July 15 (Wed.) to July 17 (Fri.), 2026.

“Azabudai Torishiki” is a takeout specialty store created from the desire to make the signature yakitori flavors of Meguro’s “TORISHIKI” more accessible, so people can enjoy them in the comfort of their own homes.
For this event, in addition to our popular “Kashiwa Karaage,” we will offer a special nori bento created in collaboration with the long-established nori store 〈YAMAMOTO NORITEN〉, available only at the Isetan Shinjuku store.

TORISHIKI ICHIMON delivers a one-of-a-kind culinary experience through a single box that embodies the craftsmanship of artisans and our dedication to carefully selected ingredients.

■ FOOD COLLECTION|A popular event space bringing together the best flavors from across the nation
The Food Collection on the B1F floor of the main building at the Isetan Shinjuku store is a special event space that hosts limited-time pop-ups featuring popular restaurants and renowned food brands from across Japan.

Featuring a wide variety of food brands, including delicatessen, bento, and sweets, it has become a beloved destination where people can enjoy discovering new foods.

For this event, “Azabudai Torishiki” will make its first appearance at the venue, offering a special lineup that includes an item available exclusively at the Isetan Shinjuku store.

■ SPECIAL MENU|Special flavors found only at Isetan Shinjuku
【Isetan Shinjuku Store Exclusive】Charcoal-grilled Kashiwa Koji Miso Nori Bento

This exclusive bento centers around “kashiwa” (chicken thigh) marinated overnight in koji miso and grilled over charcoal. It also includes TORISHIKI’s signature minced chicken with cartilage, chicken fritters mixed with edamame and corn, and a selection of other thoughtfully prepared side dishes.

For this special collaboration, freshly roasted nori prepared on-site by the long-established nori store 〈YAMAMOTO NORITEN〉 is used generously. The result is an exclusive collaboration nori bento, where the aroma of charcoal grilling and the rich flavor of freshly roasted nori come together in perfect harmony.

Kashiwa Karaage

One of “Azabudai Torishiki’s” signature items, this karaage features freshly prepared kashiwa marinated in a signature soy sauce-based sauce and fried to a fragrant, juicy finish.

This dish is highly praised for allowing you to fully enjoy the chicken’s natural flavor and texture.

■ COLLABORATION|A special partnership with the long-established nori store 〈YAMAMOTO NORITEN〉

This exclusive nori bento features freshly roasted nori from the long-established nori store 〈YAMAMOTO NORITEN〉, founded in 1849.

Freshly roasted on-site, the nori offers an exceptional aroma and texture that pairs beautifully with the charcoal-grilled chicken and carefully crafted side dishes.

We invite you to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience, where the craftsmanship and dedication of a long-established Japanese food company that has supported Japan’s food culture come together in a single bento.

■ OUR INTENT|Bringing authentic yakitori closer to everyday life
Yakitori is traditionally a dish best enjoyed freshly grilled, right in front of you.

That is precisely why we have sought to bring the ingredient selection, grilling techniques, and appreciation for chicken that TORISHIKI has cultivated over the years into everyday life, allowing more people to enjoy them.

The “Azabudai Torishiki” brand was created with that vision in mind.

Through this event, we hope to present the techniques and philosophy refined in our restaurant in a new takeout format, giving even more customers the opportunity to experience the flavors of TORISHIKI.

Going forward, we will continue sharing the appeal of yakitori culture and the richness of Japanese food culture in ways that are more accessible than ever.

■ About TORISHIKI ICHIMON
Since its opening in 2007, Meguro “TORISHIKI” has held a MICHELIN one-star rating for many years and is recognized as “the hardest-to-book yakitori restaurant in Japan”. Its owner Yoshiteru Ikegawa, as the representative of artisan chefs, established “TORISHIKI ICHIMON” to further develop the culture of yakitori.

“One skewer, one life”

——A once-in-a-lifetime skewer.

With this faith in mind, the chefs spend their entire life facing chicken, charcoal and themselves.
This is a brand where like-minded artisans gather together to preserve and cultivate the traditions of Japanese culinary culture and weave them into the future, all while passing on their skills and spirit.

Currently, the brand has 17 stores in Japan and abroad, with plans for further expansion.

Weaving yakitori culture into the world, for the next generation
